Family-owned. Five branches. Independent, and not for sale.
Five Colorado yards.
One outfit.

National consolidators. They have more capital than we do and more locations than we do. What we have is people who answer the phone, know the job, and show up on a Friday afternoon when the crew is short. That is the entire product.
No home office. Decisions about what a yard stocks get made by people who have stood in it.
We are a member of AD, a buying group of independent distributors. Hundreds of family-owned outfits like this one, buying together, at volumes a single yard could never reach on its own. That is how the price on the ticket stays competitive without a home office deciding what your branch is allowed to stock.
We are also members of the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry, the Western Colorado Contractors Association, and the Housing and Building Association of Western Colorado, and we hold an A+ with the Better Business Bureau.
Our mark is a livestock brand — a rafter over an O over a W — recorded with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. "Ride for the brand" is ranch language. It means loyalty to the outfit you work for, and it runs both directions. The certificate hangs at the counter in every branch.
Five yards in Colorado. Trucks anywhere in the state, and into New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and Arizona as a matter of routine. Front Range through Western Slope, valley floor to high country.
