Firestop is a tested system, not a caulk
A UL system names a specific manufacturer's product, at a specific thickness, in a specific opening, around a specific penetrant. Sealant that says "fire rated" in the wrong system is a failed inspection. Send us the penetration — what goes through, what it goes through, and the rating — and we will find the system and pull what it names.

Which yard carries which line
Metacaulk at Grand Junction, Montrose, and Durango. STI at Glenwood Springs and Eagle. If your submittal was approved around one line and you are buying from a yard that runs the other, tell us — we will bring the right material in rather than hand you a substitute that does not match the number on the drawing.
